Two words
A line full of implications,
I got the blues.

(It's emptiness, there for the taking
Emptiness for creating, creating)

I don't read faces,
I don't read pictures,
People, spaces,
Love,
Anything. I can't read anything, except for words.

I can't see, and not say: "I see"

When it's all quiet,
I'm breathtakingly
Unoccupied, with it all -
I'm a poet but I just can't read.

But I see black and white in a million colours.
And I know,
Oh no,
I'm glad.

The blues still have some beautiful hues too -
Gimme the poets blues.

-------------

Poetry
Isn't not me.
Poetry isn't anything
That isn't me.
Not 'freedom' at the price
Of liberty.
I repeat:
Not the limitless boundary.

Interpretation
Is not a replacement for meditation.
I don't need,
A written invitation, for filling in the spaces.
Interpret that.

Ooh, you uploaded something.
And I definitely like the first poem best, particularly the paragraph:

"I don't read faces,
I don't read pictures,
People, spaces,
Love,
Anything. I can't read anything, except for words."

I'm not sure why, it just flows really well, you know?
The first poem is also very you-esque.
It seems very...reflective.

I have to agree with kchangita; that particular verse works wonderfully well!
I also love the idea behind the lines "I don't need, / A written invitation, for filling in the spaces."

It's great to see more of your work. I always look forward to your uploads :)

I really liked the first poem. But the second was also good.
I love the line "But I see black and white in a million colours."
Nice work.

I'm glad :) I spent the longest time on the first one (two months, can you believe it?) getting it just the right way haha.
Spent like a week on the second one haha. I'm not sure why I grouped them together because they're pretty different but I guess maybe I sort of felt like they compliment each other for that reason. Anyhow thanks for the comment.
